¨ Due to budget concerns, the library will be closed on Fridays beginning with Friday, July 3rd. Any items that are due that day will be accepted on Monday, July 6th with no fines.
¨ The Friends of NAPL have purchased a disc repair machine for the library! As a service to our patrons, we are willing to clean and repair your music CDs, DVDs, Books on CD, CD-ROMs, or system games for a donation of $2 each, limit 5 discs per month per patron. For more information, ask any library staff member.
¨ The Friends of NAPL are now selling new t-shirts with the Summer Reading program theme, “Be Creative @ Your Library”. Click here for more information.
¨ Thanks to a generous grant from the Keystone Nazareth Charitable Foundation, we now have access to Gale’s Literature Criticism Online and the Gale Virtual Reference Library. In the future, you can access these two resources from our “Reference Websites” page. ¨ The Friends of NAPL are sponsoring two bus trips this year! Click here for more information.
¨ The library’s next Stitch-In will be held on Wednesday, July 1st, at 6:30 PM. Click here for more information.
¨ The next meeting of the Civil War Discussion Group will be held on Wednesday, July 15th at 6:30 PM. Please call the library if you are interested in signing up for the group.
¨ The Friends of NAPL will be meeting on Tuesday, July 28th, at 7:00 PM. All are welcome to attend.
¨ 6:30 and a Book will be meeting on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:30 PM to discuss “Devil in a Blue Dress” by Walter Mosley. Click here for more information.
¨ The library and the Friends of NAPL are selling the following items: “Read to Succeed” t-shirts are $10 each and are only available in adult sizes; “If You Give a Mouse a Book” long sleeve t-shirts are $15 for adults and $12 for children; “If You Give a Mouse a Book” short sleeve t-shirts are $10 for adults (we are out of children’s sizes); library miniatures are $15; Discount Savings Cards are $10 each; NAPL zippered tote bags are $5 each; and Gertrude Hawk candy bars are $1 each.
