Join us either virtually from the comfort of your own home or in person from the Community Room in the library to learn about Employee Rights in the Workplace from the Community Outreach and Resource Planning Specialist of the U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division in Wilkes-Barre.

Francesca de Roca will begin with a presentation, which will detail the individual's rights in the workplace, followed by a question and answer period. Bring your questions, and she will do her best to answer them, general or specific.

Presented by Lehigh Heritage Museum, join us for this program that tells the story of Rosie the Riveter, the iconic symbol of WWII women war workers.  During the war, our nation turned all its manufacturing resources to wartime production.  The image of Rosie the Riveter was created to attract a relatively untapped labor source - women.  Rosie the Riveter still symbolizes women's strength, determination, and ability to adapt to any job or situation.

This month's meeting will be in person at the library.  If you can't be present, we will also have a zoom link set up so that you can participate in the discussion.  A discussion group for people interested in discussing serial killers, cold cases, cults and disappearances.  It is a true crime club that is to die for.  DISCLAIMER:  An hour to kill is a true crime discussion club.
