Friends of NAPL The Friends group is an association of concerned citizens who use their talents, skills, and interests to: · focus public attention on the Library. · stimulate the use of the Library’s resources and services. · receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests. · assist in developing Library services and facilities for the community. |
|
Some of the things the Friends have done in the past include: purchasing an outdoor media drop box, creating a book discussion group, Longaberger Basket Bingo, sponsored the 9th grade essay contest, helped with the auction, helped with the library’s annual drive mailing, and had booths at various community events.
No one is required to help with any one thing. You may simply use the talents you have and choose how you would like to help the Library. We do ask that you bring a smile, a desire to help, and if possible, a head full of ideas. Meetings are held fourth Tuesdays of each month.
Membership is just $5 per year for an individual and comes with many opportunities to show your support. For more information, please call 610-262-7537 and speak to any staff member or email Karen Hein . |
