Northampton Area School District The NAPL receives more than half of its budget from the Northampton Area School District through a 1964 agreement. In fiscal year 2004-2005, it amounted to $5.58 per capita, less than one-half of one percent of its total budget.
Local Government Support The seven municipalities in the School District also contribute an average of 87 cents per capita.
Local Support=Under-funded The average local funding of other public libraries in Northampton County is $13.14 The NAPL subsists on half of that average at $6.55 per capita.
