Karen H. (Director of Operations)
Genres: Non-fiction (self-help, ancient history), horror, psychological mysteries
Why? I have a questioning mind and love learning in general. I tend to navigate more towards non-fiction. What I like to read the most are those books that help explain who we are and how we got here - mostly books on ancient astronaut theory and the unexplainable - things that get me thinking. SOme of my favorites are Chariots of the Gods, Ancient Aliens: The official companion book (goes along with the DVDs), anything about Atlantis, Machu Pichu, Gobekil Tepe, the Olmecs, Aztecs, Native Americans, etc.
My top 5 books:
- "Chariots of the Gods" by Erich von Daniken (NF 001.942 Dan)
- "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens (F Dic)
- "Les Miserables" by Victor Hugo (F Hug)
- "Unacknowledged: an expose of the world's greatest secret" by Steven Greer (NF 001.942 Gre)
- "Immortality of the gods: legends, mysteries, and the alien connection to eternal life" by Nick Redfern (NF 001.94 Red)
