Let's celebrate the diverse cultures that our community contains by sharing food! This is an event to get everyone talking and sharing stories and memories of how your culture impacts your life.

Welcome to our surprise Sassy Summer Edition of in-person book club!

This July we will be reading Salma El-Wardany's These Impossible Things, a coming of age story about three best friends navigating love, sex, faith—and the one night that changes everything.

As always, dessert will be provided.

Symmetry surrounds us in the natural world, and some people create symmetrical designs for a living! You can find symmetrical designs on fabrics, wallpaper, rugs, wrapping paper... The possibilities are endless!

We'll creating our own repeating patterns using grids and art supplies. Then we'll graduate to creating our own stamps with potatoes, sponges, and paper tubes to either reproduce our grid paper design or create a new design. Finally, we'll make our own wrapping paper with our stamps and long cuts of butcher paper.
