Book Club (Grades 3 - 5)

Book Club is for students in 3rd through 5th grade who enjoy reading and socializing with other young readers.  Members will read, discuss, and participate in activities based on chapter books from a variety of genres.  

Registration required.  We will contact you when we have the book available for you.

Topic:  Mother Killers & Killer Mothers

A virtual discussion group for people interested in discussing serial killers, cold cases, cults and disappearances.  It is a true crime club that is to die for.  DISCLAIMER:  An hour to kill is a true crime discussion club.   A Zoom link will be sent 24 prior to the meeting as long as you are registered.

Please do not attend if you're sensitive to discussions of violence or explicit content.

We will conduct food experiments, make art and maybe get a visit from some animal friends!

For May, join us as we explore delicious recipes from around the world. Is your favorite cuisine from France, Italy, Germany, Japan, etc.? We'll debate the merits of each country's cooking style and why we enjoy them...or not. The library has tons of recipe books to explore!

Registration is required in order to participate.

Recipe Swap: Diets Can Be Delicious!

For April, join us as we explore delicious recipes from various diets and offer our opinions on if they're fads that will fade away or not. Keto, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, south beach, etc. The library has tons of recipe books to explore!

We’re back live and in person, crafters!

From here on out, we will meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the Community Room. If it’s nice outside, we may even take out some chairs and go mask-less!
