September is Library Card Sign Up Month.  In honor of this, anyone who signs up for a library card is eligible to win a $15 Amazon gift card.  Drawing for the gift card will be October 1st.  

Not a formal library event but feel free to join the staff as we awe at this celestial event.  Solar eclipse definition :  A complete or partial hiding of the sun caused by the moon's passing between the sun and the earth.

The Friends are also accepting donations of items to be sold at the Friends tables to benefit the Friends group. Hot dogs and other refreshment will be available for purchase.

This will be a cooking competition in the style of “Chopped” and "Iron Chef" on Food Network.  Everyone will have an opportunity to create a dish with secret ingredients.  Dishes will be tasted and judged.  Best dish wins!!
