of this year's Teen Passport.

All programming will be in person at the library at the listed times.  If 
Covid mitigations change, registered participants will receive notice and 
programs will become take home kits.

What You Need to Know:

When can I start? The program runs from June 4 - August 13, 2022. 

What books count? Books from home, library books, e-books, magazines,
graphic novels, and audiobooks all count.

What prizes can I earn? Gift cards, Themed baskets.

What do I need to do to win?  Participate in any or all programs/activites. 
Each program/activity earns you raffle entries.  Winners will be drawn from these
entries.

How do I redeem prizes? Watch for additional information about how to redeem your
reading time for prizes on this web page  Prize quantities are limited.        

Activities

Reader Zone (June 4 - August 13)
Reader Zone is our online program to track reading achievements. For teens, you will be tracking your minutes read.  Reader Zone is easy.  Download the app to your phone, create your account.  Then use our code – 4031f to join our reading quest.  For every 60 minutes read, you will earn an entry into our prize raffle.

Summer Reading Passport (June 4 - August 13)
Another reading quest!  Do the activity, bring your passport in to be stamped.  Every stamp earns you a small prize.  Turn in your passport and you'll be entered into our prize raffle.  Lots of different types of activites to choose from!

Registration is required for all teen programs.

Jellyfish Paper Lanterns Monday, June 20 @ 1 pm  - Learn to create these fanciful jellyfish paper lanterns.  They make great decor inside or out.  Registration is required. 

 

 

Recycled T-shirt Bag - Monday, June 27 @ 1pm  - Create your own bag out of an old T-shirt.  Bring your own T-shirt (we will have some available if you just can't part with one of your own" and learn how to make this no sew bag!

 

 

Tissue Paper Water Color – Tuesday, July 5 @ 1pm - Make your own stunning watercolor using tissue paper and water.  All materials will be provided.

 

 

DIY Sugar Scrub – Monday, July 11 @ 1 pm -   Create your own sugar scrub out of basic materials and essences.  You'll be surprised how easy it is.  All supplies will be provided.

 

 

Recycled Bead BraceletMonday, July 18 @ 1pm -  Make these environmentally friendly beads using old magazines.  String them together and viola, you have a bracelet/necklace/headband/garland, whatever you want it to be.  All materials provided.

 

 

Light Up Angler FIsh – Monday, July 25 @ 1pm  - Create this creepy critter from the deep with a light up tentacle.  All materials provided.

 



Ride the Wave Mood Tracker - Monday, August 1 @ 1pm -  Learn about mood tracking and create your own mood tracker journal.  All materials provided.

 

 

Pirate Escape Room - Friday, August 12 @ 6pm - Shiver me timbers!  Can you unlock the treasure chest before you have to walk the plank?  Registration is required as space is limited.

 

 

 

Participation in any programs will earn you entries into our prize raffles.
