Stop Motion Workshop

Stop motion animation has existed for more than a century!  Movies such as “Coraline” and “The Nightmare before Christmas” are stop motion animated films.  This program offers teens a chance to try technology, play and share a scene from their favorite book using assorted materials.

Registration begins June 3rd.

Teen Scratch Art

CDs are getting less use as disk drives disappear from our computers and vehicles.  You can however use CDs for fun and unique art projects.  This is exactly what we are going to do.

RESCHEDULED -Teen Community Garden Party

A community garden is a great way to learn about gardening, teamwork and community.  We will plant and maintain the garden throughout the summer with you deciding what happens to the produce.  You will also be asked to spend around 15-30 minutes a week helping to maintain the garden.

Teen Advisory Group Meeting

@ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The Teen Advisory Group or TAG is a group of teens, grades 6 – 12, living in the Northampton Area School District who are interested in having a say in what their library does for them.

TAG will meet monthly on the second Wednesday of each month @ 3:30 PM.  Meetings are for group members to share their ideas, help plan future events/services for teens, and work toward making the library a teen-friendly space in our community.
