Pennsylvania One Book Every Young Child is a collaborative project emphasizing the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers and the significance of reading early and often to children, as well as engaging them in conversation and other activities around books.

This "One Book Family Story, Craft & More" is for baby and toddlers up to age 3.  Registration begins on Monday, March 18th.

A. J. Fikry's life is not at all what he expected it to be. His wife has died; his bookstore is experiencing the worst sales in its history; and now his prized possession, a rare collection of Poe poems, has been stolen. Slowly but surely, he is isolating himself from all the people of Alice Island—from Chief Lambiase, the well-intentioned police officer who's always felt kindly toward him; from Ismay, his sister-in-law, who is hell-bent on saving A.J.

Children and their caregivers are invited to bring a stuffed animal of their choice to the library. We will have a special pajama storytime and enjoy some before-bedtime-snacks. After the kids say goodnight and head home, their stuffed friends will stay safe with us until morning.

Will the stuffies stay snug in their beds? Or will they go on an adventure through the stacks? 

Pick up you stuffed animal anytime the next day and find out for yourself!
